From Japanese instructions for a lamp. I believe the instructions read 'Tools make lamp weep' and 'Use small, happy lamp, not large, grumpy lamp'. UPDATE: A reader writes to translate the text: "Absolutely no modification or addition of parts to the equipiment." "Please use [light bulb] with wattage below the specification." So apparently the droplets in the first image are beads of sweat, not tears.
